The Boss Babe Academy is a 4-day immersive leadership experience designed for middle and high school girls to build confidence, develop real-world skills, and step into who they are becoming.

This year, the Academy is expanding to welcome students from across the country, creating an opportunity for girls nationwide to experience a program rooted in confidence, leadership, and community.

Students will have the opportunity to step into the world of a Boss Babe through an interactive town designed to help them explore careers, build confidence, and connect with others in a dynamic and engaging environment.

Throughout the week, students explore a variety of storefronts and experiences where they can:

  • Network with influential women in business and community leadership

  • Participate in hands-on career and leadership experiences

  • Enjoy free shopping inside Queen’s Closet, featuring hundreds of curated pieces

  • Visit self-care lounges and spa-style experiences focused on confidence and wellness

  • Engage in creative spaces like the podcast studio and photo studios

Each student is supported by mentors and has the opportunity to learn directly from some of the region’s most influential female business and community leaders.

The Academy is intentionally designed with two tracks, allowing both middle school and high school students to have age-appropriate experiences, workshops, and conversations.

This year, the Boss Babe Academy is also expanding accessibility by offering support for monolingual Spanish-speaking students. Through live translation and peer-to-peer support, we are creating an inclusive environment where more girls can fully participate, connect, and grow.

Academy Kickoff & Orientation Experience: July 11th, 2026

The Boss Babe Academy begins with a special kickoff experience designed to bring students together in a fun setting before the week begins.

Students will attend an afternoon orientation at Icon Cinema, where they will meet fellow students, connect with The Boss Babe Academy team, and get a brief overview of what to expect throughout the Academy.

The experience is centered around a special screening of the new Disney’s Moana live-action film, setting the tone for a week rooted in courage, identity, and discovering your path. Admission to the screening is included in every Academy registration, with optional concessions available for purchase.

This is where confidence is built, voices are found, and girls step into who they are becoming.

Watch what happens when young women are given the space to lead, create, and believe in themselves.

What Makes the Boss Babe Academy Different

When girls walk through the doors of the Boss Babe Academy, they experience something different. They see possibility. They meet girls who speak different languages, come from different backgrounds, and live in different area codes, yet share a common desire for connection, growth, and community.

The Boss Babe Academy creates a space where girls can build real friendships rooted in sisterhood, support, and respect. It is a place where every girl is encouraged to be herself, explore new experiences, and use her voice.

This experience is intentionally designed to be a positive and uplifting environment. We believe in kindness, encouragement, and showing up for one another. There is no mean girl energy allowed here, only a space where girls feel supported, valued, and seen.

More than anything, the Academy gives girls the opportunity to step into a world of possibilities, surrounded by a community that reminds them they belong.

  • DAY 1: CONFIDENCE BUILDING - Becoming HER

Students kick off the Boss Babe Academy with style as they step into an interactive town filled with dozens of storefront businesses and opportunities to connect with some of the region’s most influential leaders. Throughout the day, girls are encouraged to step outside of their comfort zones as they explore experiences like professional photo shoots, shopping and styling inside Queen’s Closet, podcast sessions, and time to unwind in self-care lounges.

This day is centered on identity, confidence, and self-worth. Through confidence-building workshops, public speaking exercises, and creative experiences, girls learn how to carry themselves with presence and believe in who they are becoming. From finding their voice to participating in a runway confidence walk, each experience is designed to help them express themselves, be seen, and step into their full potential.

  • DAY 2: CAREER DAY

Get ready to learn from the best. On Day 2, our scholars step fully into Boss Babe mode as they connect with some of Colorado’s most successful women in business. As they explore the town, girls engage with leaders across industries, as well as local colleges and universities, gaining real insight into career paths and education opportunities.

Through interactive workshops and meaningful conversations, students develop skills in communication, personal branding, and networking, learning how to build relationships, ask thoughtful questions, and navigate professional environments with intention.

Throughout the day, students also build practical life skills through financial literacy and budgeting sessions, while being encouraged to make connections, explore new opportunities, and think bigger about their future.

Students will have an opportunity to participate in the Boss Babe Pitch Contest, where young entrepreneurs present their business ideas to a panel of business professionals for a chance to win cash prizes.

  • DAY 3: MENTAL HEALTH & SELF CARE

The teenage years are a powerful time for growth, and sometimes, growing comes with challenges. On Day 3, students are invited to slow down, reset, and reconnect with themselves in a supportive and encouraging environment.

Throughout the day, girls explore the town while engaging in experiences designed to support their mental and emotional well-being. From self-care lounges and spa-style experiences to creative outlets like movement, reflection, and hands-on activities, students are given space to recharge while continuing to grow.

Through guided workshops and meaningful conversations, students learn how to navigate friendships, understand their emotions, and develop healthy habits that support their overall well-being. Topics include managing stress, setting boundaries, building healthy relationships, and learning how to take care of themselves both mentally and emotionally.

This day is designed to help girls feel grounded, supported, and empowered with tools they can carry with them long after the Academy ends.

  • DAY 4: EXPRESS YOURSELF & GRADUATION

Day 4 is a celebration of everything students have experienced, created, and stepped into throughout the week. This is where it all comes together.

Students begin the day by continuing to explore their voice through guided activities and creative expression, leading into a live talent showcase where they have the opportunity to perform, share their gifts, and be seen in a supportive and encouraging environment. Participation in the talent showcase is completely optional, and students are encouraged to show up in the way that feels right for them, whether that means taking the stage or cheering on their new friends.

For those who choose to perform, the showcase brings an exciting, “golden buzzer” style experience, where two performers will be selected by a panel of creatives for the opportunity to take the stage again at graduation in front of family, friends, and the community.

Girls will also have the opportunity to step onto the runway, express themselves, and celebrate their confidence in a high-energy, supportive environment inspired by the Women of the World experience.

Doors open at 3:00 PM for family, friends, and community members to join in a SPECIAL graduation celebration. The Academy concludes with a ceremony filled with meaningful moments, including red carpet interviews, student reflections, awards, and recognition, as each girl is crowned and celebrated for her growth and journey throughout the week.
