Unleashing the Power of Women's Voices: The Importance of Sharing Our Stories

Women have been historically marginalized and silenced in society, with their stories and experiences often dismissed or ignored. However, over the years, women have found their voices and have begun to share their stories, leading to significant changes in their own communities. We’re here to share testimonies of fearless women and the journey that led them to this very moment.

When one woman shares her story, it inspires others to share there’s.

The act of sharing one's story can be a powerful tool for social change we’ve seen it through nonprofit work, protests, and marches. When women share their experiences and stories, they are able to shed light on issues that have been ignored or silenced. By speaking out, they are able to raise awareness and inspire others to take action.

One of the most significant examples of women sharing their stories is the #MeToo movement. Women from all walks of life came forward to share their experiences of sexual harassment and assault, bringing attention to a pervasive problem that had long been ignored. The movement inspired others to speak out and take action, leading to significant changes in laws and workplace policies.

In addition to inspiring social change, women sharing their stories can also be empowering on a personal level. When women share their experiences, they are able to connect with others who have had similar experiences, creating a sense of solidarity and support. This can be particularly important for women who have experienced trauma or discrimination, as it can help them feel less alone and more validated.

Women sharing their stories has played a significant role in shaping history. From suffragettes fighting for women's right to vote to civil rights activists fighting for racial equality, women have played a vital role in social and political movements. Their stories have been instrumental in raising awareness and inspiring others to take action.

The positive ripple effect that happens when women share their voice is astounding. Boss Babe Networking, a woman owned and operated Public Relations firm based in Colorado created a new platform called, “Her Story,” dedicated for women to share their story. The company also hosts workshops and training opportunities for women to learn how to strengthen their skills in public speaking, content creation, and networking.

Empowering Women to Have a Fighting Chance - Doris’ Story

“Being a business owner comes with many challenges but the greatest challenge I've had is learning to be organized with my time..”

“I've had many things I've had to overcome, but the greatest obstacle was overcoming a specific domestic violence incident. In 2006, my ex husband kidnapped me at gunpoint, sexually assaulted me and I was sure that day he would kill me. By the grace of God, I was able to escape but it left me quite broken, ashamed and humiliated. I met Jesus that night when  I cried out and it was through my journey in following Him and allowing Him into my heart and wounds that I have been able to heal and help others that were in similar situations. This experience taught me that although we may experience difficult things in life, that it does not have to define us. Although I know God did not intend for this to happen to me, He used it to draw me closer to Him and to help save lives. I am grateful for every breath I take and I hope that I can help offer others the same hope. To Never, ever give up!”

Queen of Content Shares Her Journey of Entrepreneurship & Music - Rozen’s Story

“My life's mission and what brings me joy is one and the same: to create.”

“When I say society I mean every day, I believe that women all over the world are pushing the envelope, and changing the narrative. That women can, too, be business owners and it’s not a #BOSSBABE 'trend', it’s just “boss.” We can be bosses too. We are normalizing that, but I feel like sometimes the past narrative of society, sometimes specific cultures, a lot of those old narratives slow down the process of our entrepreneurial journey so I believe that believes what can make, or break us as women in the business.”

Bringing Laughter and Love to the World - Kimberly Gold’s Story

“It took years of therapy and self-love to forgive the younger version of me.”

”When I share this struggle, I see such mixed responses. Sometimes I see the horror and judgment in people’s faces, sometimes I see the hope and relief. I had an abortion as a young adult. I allowed that decision to wreck me for a long time. I felt like I had not only killed a life but I also lost my own. I felt ashamed, unlovable, and unworthy.  It took years of therapy and self-love to forgive the younger version of me. I share this because I know so many men and women who have yet to forgive themselves. Through this, I learned the value of sex education, unlearning the “virginity” myth, and understanding how trauma from sexual assault shows up well after the assault is over. Don’t let your past take away your future.”

One Woman’s Message to the World - Lea’s Story

The biggest piece of advice that I can give women is the same message that I have to continue to remind myself: You are a badass, you can overcome anything!

“Life is full of obstacles, and each one has taught me a very different lesson. The loss of my father at a very young age taught me how to become more self-independent. The heartache of having someone you love and trust dearly betray that trust, taught me how to forgive others more easily, as the picture of perfection does not exist in any form. Making plans and building our dream home, only to have someone burn it down, showed me that as long as the foundation is good, you can always rebuild. Also though this life offers much heartache and tribulations, if you stand with God, he always makes a plan for you on the other side of ANY circumstance.
