When I first conceived the project "From Trauma to Triumph," I knew it would be powerful, but I could not have imagined the impact it would have, not only on the women I photographed but on my own soul as well.

Trauma to Triumph is transformative project was created in collaboration with Lea Flores Photography and Boss Babe Networking. Together, we sought to create a space where women who had endured trauma could express their pain and, more importantly, reclaim their strength. It was more than a photo series; it was a visual journey—a testament to the resilience and inner power of these incredible women.

“As I began photographing each woman, I realized that the images were not just about their trauma. They were about survival. These women were no longer defined by their past but by their ability to rise above it. I wanted them to see themselves not as victims but as warriors who had faced unimaginable pain and emerged victorious.”

There were many moments during these sessions that words simply could not touch. I could feel the depth of their stories, and many times, tears blurred my vision as I looked through the lens. Tears of sorrow, yes—but also tears of release. Each woman shared her vulnerability in front of the camera, allowing me to witness her healing process in real time. The camera, far from being intrusive, became a tool of liberation, a gentle mirror reflecting their resilience.

Each photograph is a chapter in their journey. It captures not only the physical presence of these women but their inner power—the quiet strength that comes from surviving and thriving. Through the lens, I could see their transformation, and in each frame, their triumph was palpable. The act of being seen in this way helped these women embrace their journey from trauma to victory, providing a visual affirmation of their healing.

Being a boudoir photographer, I’m used to helping women see their beauty. But this project took me deeper into understanding how beauty, strength, and vulnerability coexist. It taught me that photography is more than just capturing an image; it’s about creating a space where women feel safe enough to reveal their true selves.

As we prepare to unveil "From Trauma to Triumph," my hope is that this project will inspire all who view it. It’s not just about recognizing the strength of the women featured but also about encouraging each of us to acknowledge the resilience within ourselves and others. Healing is possible, and every woman's journey is worth celebrating.

These remarkable women, by sharing their stories, remind us that the path from trauma to triumph is not only achievable but inspiring. Through this photo gallery, we invite you to witness their journey and join us in celebrating their incredible strength and resilience. The unveiling will take place at Anthem Live Studios on October 2nd. Boss Babe Networking will also be hosting a Survivor Speak Out following the unveiling to create space for more voices and stories to be heard.
