“Seeing my clients radiate confidence and happiness when they find the perfect outfit that truly resonates with their personal style brings me immense joy.”
Let’s start with an introduction. Tell us about yourself. Feel free to share your business, your life’s mission, and what brings you joy.
Hello everyone, my name is Nayada Moore, and I am delighted to introduce myself to you all. I am the proud owner of a small thrift boutique, Hashtag Co, where I serve as a personal stylist and photographer. My passion lies in dressing women and helping them discover their inner beauty by enhancing their outer appearance.
At Hashtag Co, I strive to curate unique and stylish pieces that empower women to embrace their individuality and express themselves through fashion. Seeing my clients radiate confidence and happiness when they find the perfect outfit that truly resonates with their personal style brings me immense joy.
In addition to my work as a stylist and photographer, I am also the Development Fellow at Food to Power. As the first fellow in this role, my primary goal is to raise funds and secure resources to bring positive change to my community in Southeast Colorado Springs. Through my efforts, I aim to create opportunities, promote sustainable development, and improve the quality of life for the residents of this vibrant community.
In my personal life, what brings me the greatest joy is making a positive impact on the lives of others. I am fueled by the belief that when women feel beautiful on the outside, it profoundly affects their self-esteem and overall well-being. Witnessing the transformation and self-assurance that my client’s experience is incredibly rewarding and reinforces my life's mission.
I am excited to continue my journey as a stylist, photographer, and community advocate, and I look forward to contributing to the empowerment and growth of those around me.

Here at BBN, we’re all about sharing women’s stories. Tell us about a time you had to overcome an obstacle.? What did that moment in your life teach you?
One obstacle I’m currently facing is in my new role at Food to Power, where I am serving as a new development fellow for fundraising, which is a completely new area of expertise for me. However, I am determined to learn and take it one day at a time, as my ultimate objective is to empower my community by securing more resources and funding, through philanthropic work and fundraising. To further elaborate on my point, I believe that by bringing in additional resources and financial support, we can make a greater impact and improve the quality of life for those we serve.
What do you believe is the biggest challenge mothers in business face?
The challenge that mothers encounter in the realm of business is multifaceted and complex. For starters, the first business venture that most mothers embark upon begins at home, where they must oversee and manage their households while also caring for their children. The juggling act of balancing their responsibilities at home with their professional ambitions can be quite daunting, and requires a significant amount of skill and finesse. Furthermore, they are tasked with the challenge of finding ways to seamlessly integrate their work lives with their familial obligations, all while striving to be present and engaged members of their communities. It is a complex and demanding task that requires a tremendous amount of dedication, patience, and resilience.
What did the younger version of you want to be when you grew up?
As a younger version of myself, my heartfelt desire was to bring happiness and assistance to people in any way I could. Initially, I envisioned pursuing a career as a veterinarian, driven by my love for animals and the prospect of helping them. However, upon discovering that this path also involved the heart-wrenching task of euthanasia, my aspirations shifted, and I began exploring other avenues to fulfill my passion for helping others.
What advice would you give mothers in business?
Motherhood and business both require care and nurturing. Treat your business and community with the same love and attention you give your family.
