Empowering Survivors and Women of Color

A core part of Boss Babe Networking's mission is to empower survivors of domestic violence. By being a member, you are actively participating in helping women break barriers in their business and careers. Your membership will help us connect, educate, and empower our greater community.

One way BBN is championing change is through the Empower Fund. This grant will help survivors create businesses and support new start-up costs for minority owned enterprises.

The repercussions of domestic violence drastically impact the economy and businesses. According to research by University of California, San Francisco the total cost of IPV against women in the United States exceeds $8.3 billion each year.

Data from the National Violence Against Women Survey (NVAWS) published by the CDCTrusted Source estimates that women in the United States lose almost 8 million days of paid work each year because of IPV. Boss Babe Networking is committed to combating abuse by empowering women to pursue entrepreneurship.
